赵锦辉简历

Dr. Jinhui Zhao received his medical degree from Harbin Medical University, Harbin, China in 1984 and Graduate Diploma in Demography from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India in 1992. He was associate professor (1994) and full professor (1996) of the School of Public Health, Harbin Medical University. He received his Master degree (MSc) in Epidemiology and Addiction Studies from the University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada and PhD in Epidemiology and Community Health from the Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. Johns, Canada. Currently, he is a scientist at the Centre for Addictions Research, University of Victoria, Victoria, Canada and an adjunct professor at the School of Public Health, Soochow University, China.

His research interest and expertise are: health effects of social policy interventions, alcohol epidemiology, injury and traffic collision epidemiology, cancer epidemiology, epidemiology of alcohol, smoking and illicit drug use, weather change and presentation of emergency department for acute and chronic conditions, gambling problem and mental disease research, epidemiological methods, case-control design, meta-analysis, survey sampling in health research, application of statistical model such as multivariate linear regression, multivariate logistic regression, Poisson model, Cox-proportional survival analysis, multilevel model in population health and intervention research.
